Breaking news: actor Tom Hardy was adopted by another dog.

I normally limit my commentary to the tags, but this is a very important idea to me: a webseries titled, “Tom Hardy Meets a Dog.” A biweekly show where Tom Hardy goes to a rescue organization and meets a dog. In each episode, the following steps:

  1. Tom Hardy anticipates meeting a dog.
  2. The dog and Tom Hardy spot each other. There is a moment of mutual recognition of each other’s extreme excellence at Being a Dog. Love at first sight.
  3. The dog and Tom Hardy bond. Tom Hardy comments at length on the dog’s excellence. Perhaps he rolls around on the floor with the dog, laughing delightedly.
  4. The dog must leave. Tom Hardy is inwardly distraught, but puts a good face on it.
  5. The dog, being a dog, does not put a good face on it. They must be forcibly parted.
  6. Tom Hardy, driving away, meditates on what a good dog that dog was.
  7. I click “replay.”

This is so funny because I have been to a taping of the Alan Carr show with Tom Hardy, in which Hardy brought his aging poor dog baby with its bad hips with him, and was like letting the dog lick him all over and it was beautiful and then. LO and Behold. Alan Carr attempts to gift the dog with a ball and Tom Hardy LOST HIS MIND

He went like – ARE YOU TRYING TO MURDER MY BABY

HE HAS BAD HIPS, CAN’T YOU SEE

CHASING A BALL COULD KILL HIM

ARE YOU A MONSTER?!

And yeah that segment never made it on screen but I am pretty sure that at this point Tom Hardy has put a hit on Alan Carr and Tom Hardy is the best Dog Daddy to have dogged, that’s all

how to make yourself write if you don’t know where to start

1. don’t expect too much of yourself

2. write down whatever you know about your idea

3. don’t format it to make it look pretty

4. use paragraphs whenever you get a new idea

5. don’t read back on what you’ve written before

6. if it helps, set your font color to white or light gray

7. don’t skip around. when you have a new idea, it goes on the end of the document

8. write sample dialogue if you have any

9. link to resources you find while googling

10. don’t delete anything. if you want to disregard something, use strikethrough
