you’re worthy of that light
I had a commission for a Spideypool card, and it was so fun to make! Hand cut and designed by me.

FBI agent Will Graham wakes up after 250 years of being put on ice for crimes he did not commit (concurrent with end season one of Hannibal). A wealthy Meth named Mason Verger had him re-sleeved in a clone with the intention of taking revenge on their mutual enemy, Dr Hannibal Lecter.
Will tracks down Hannibal Lecter to discover that consuming sleeves (human body) is now a legal past-time for the rich. Dr Lecter not only indulges in eating sleeves with his wife Bedelia, he is also suspected of causing actual cortical stack death. When he confronts his old enemy, Will is once again drawn into a seductive game of cat and mouse. Will starts having strange flashbacks which he initially thought was due to faulty upload of his stack. Hannibal frequently hints of a past he was not aware of.
The season finale reveals that Will was not put on ice when he was in jail but 2 years later (concurrent with end season 3 Hannibal). He had not survived the cliff jump and Hannibal has respected his wishes by not spinning him back up. Mason had deliberately wiped the last two years of his memory.
Season 4 headcanon: Will reconstructs his and Hannibal’s murder from memory
[I just have a mighty need for season 4 to start with Will mentally recreating Dolarhyde’s murder as he would at a crime scene. I’m basically a slut for the whole ‘this is our design’ idea so this was the result of my obsessive need for Will to say it.]

Hannibal held on to Mischa so hard, held to Mischa with his wiry grip until they slammed the heavy barn door on him, stunning him and cracking the bone inhis upper arm… He prayed so hard that he would see Mischa again, the prayer consumed his six-year-old mind, but it did not drown out the sound of the axe.
