The minute Adam
walked inside the apartment he froze, the smell hitting him all at once and it
took everything in him not to go running back out into the hallway.Oh god no.
“Elias?”
There was a
bang, the sound of several things falling at once, and then Elias ran into the
room looking just as Adam feared.“YOU ARE
NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!“Adam had gotten
his text, ‘Stay away from home,’ and didn’t know what to reply so coming here
seemed the best idea.He hadn’t
expected Elias to be cooking after the last surprise food disaster. Adam
thought they’d collectively come to a decision not to use the stove for
anything other than frozen ready made things.Apparently he
was wrong about that.“I didn’t
know whether you were angry at me or not?,” he took off his coat and
ignored the sniffles already coming from Elias.“I am now.
Please leave, I’m making Christmas surprises and….“The smoke alarm
went off and Elias cursed in Danish, one of Adam’s favorite things to hear him
do, and took off back where he’d come.Adam walked
slowly after him, hating himself for wishing whatever it was got ruined.
Basic Chickens AU: Snow Lover
The sound of Christmas music was loud enough he could hear it where he lay, staring up at the moon and shivering in the snow.
This just got harder every year.
His brothers had women now, not particularly good looking and mostly ugly but they were women. He didn’t spend much time with them, knowing they were no doubt wanting him but keeping their thoughts quiet so as not to upset his brothers.
The children he didn’t mind, running around having snowball fights and tackling them down onto the snow.
But it was Christmas Eve and watching the room filled with people that didn’t belong to him was worse than he thought it would be.
So he lay staring up and shivering, the snow wetting his hat the longer he stayed that way.
Elias was alone.
He was starting to think he’d always be alone.
Maybe there was no one out there good enough for him and really he didn’t want a subpar lover anyway.
The cold hit him suddenly and blew off his hat when he turned away from the wind. Elias cursed and stood up following it in a rush. Oddly it stopped right beside the snowman Aksel and Danica had made just a few short hours ago caught between the scraggly green scarf they’d tied around its neck and its branch arm.
He sighed and started to untangle it.
“Stupid scarf,” he muttered, “Snowmen do not need scarves.”
When he got them apart the hat was even more wet so he stuffed it in his pocket.
The snowman did not have a hat but instead Danica had given him a nest of hair made from leaves that Elias thought was quite ugly even for a man made of frozen water.
“You are very ugly.”
The snowman’s scarf blew in the breeze and his arm moved just slightly as if it to say, “No I’m not.”
Elias put his hand on the snowman’s cheek.
“If this were one of those child movies I could kiss you and you’d become my dream lover.”
The snowman lost a few leaves and Elias frowned.
“It’s not as if I have anyone else to kiss this year. Here is my Christmas gift to you.”
He pressed his lips to the snowman and lingered perhaps a moment too long but really no one was there to see. A single tear fell onto the snowman’s cheek as he pulled away and Elias nodded.
“Merry Christmas Leaf Head.”
The walk back to the house was longer than he remembered and when he went inside all the lights were off. He got into his room and felt oddly no immediate stir of his cock when he took off his wet clothes.
Perhaps even his body was too tired of being alone.
Elias fell asleep with his pillow clutches in one hand tightly and had dreams that made him very happy.
He was still half asleep when he felt the dampness beside him and opened his eyes to see a wet naked man asleep on his pillow.
The man had curly hair, a mustache and sprinkles of a beard but he was very beautiful. He was quite possibly the most beautiful person Elias had ever seen.
He thought maybe he was in a dream of some sort until the scarf brushed against his hand.
The same scarf that Leaf Head has been wearing last night.
That’s when Elias pushed the man to the floor.
“Who are you!? Why are you wearing that and—“
The man blinked awake and smiled at him quite widely.
“I’m your dream lover. You don’t remember? Your kiss was very nice. I’ve never been kissed before.”
The man knelt up and was quite close to Elias’s open legs. He immediately felt his cock harden and the man leaned up on his forearms to get closer to him.
“I didn’t kiss you and I do not have any dream lovers only thousands of real ones!”
The man laughed and Elias had to swallow a whimper when he crawled back onto the bed. His cock was just as pretty as the rest of him and Elias felt a desperate need to touch it.
“Then you can show me how things are done. You brought me here when you kissed me even though I was made of snow. The least you can do is that.”
Elias swallowed back tears.
“You are telling me you’re the snowman?”
The man moved in closer and put his hands on Elias’s cheeks. “Not anymore.”
Elias let out a shaky breath.
“And you want to do it with me.”
The man was practically in his lap now, hands still on his cheeks but close enough to kiss.
“Yes. I haven’t been alive long but that’s all I want to do is be your dream lover.”
Who was Elias to argue?
After all, it wasn’t as if snowmen came alive everyday.
He started to open his pajama bottoms when suddenly the door opened behind them.
“Uncle Elias someone stole our snow—“
It was Aksel, who took one look at them and closed the door again.
The man in his lap suddenly said, “Its one of the ones who made me! I need to tell him I’m—“
Elias grabbed his arm.
“Not right now. Right now I need to lock the door and get lots of sex supplies ready.”
The man licked his lips.
“I feel very anxious in my lower half. Impatient. I—“
Elias kissed him then, the taste very different than the snow kiss but still as cold as he remembered. He wondered if the more he kissed his snow lover the warmer he’d become.
When they pulled apart the other man still had his eyes closed so Elias touched his cheek.
“You’re very beautiful.”
He opened his eyes.
“You don’t think I’m ugly anymore? You said before I was ugly.”
Elias frowned. “No. You’re very beautiful and very—“
The man touched his cheek and Elias shivered.
“Give me a good name for a beautiful person.”
Elias didn’t know anyone as beautiful as the one in his arms. This man had to have been made in some godly place somewhere to be so lovely.
“Adam,” he mumbled, “My perfect Adam.”
Adam smiled.
“I just want to make you happy Elias.”
Elias felt tears in his eyes.
He didn’t want to wake up from this if it was a dream.
“You already have.”

Adam smiled.
“I just want to make you happy Elias.”
Elias felt tears in his eyes.
He didn’t want to wake up from this if it was a dream.
“You already have.”
‘Your natural charm will attract someone special.’
Elias stared at the paper in his hands for a long time before he realized what it was he held.
A fortune.
He’d never been one for Chinese food, the spicy strangeness not to his taste despite the times he’d stopped by Gabriel’s apartment when he had ordered some and had a few bites. The cookies though he did like, their sweet taste and often sweeter words inside a delight.
This fortune though was strange and not because Elias sat in the middle of a park where no fortune cookies were sold.
The paper was gold.
He ran his fingers over the thickness of it, almost otherworldly, and put the strange thing in his pocket to continue the reason he’d come.
The man.
Elias had first seen him the month before lying down in the grass and taking in the sun with very little on. The sight of such a thing in the middle of the chillier weather had struck him but when the man kept on he’d started to become more than fascinated.
He was aroused.
A man had never aroused him before despite his condition and this made him very interested in why this particular one did. Which was why Elias sat across from where the man in question sat as he had for the last four weeks to watch the now fully clothed man while he wrote in a tiny notebook. He wondered if the man was a writer of a sort, or perhaps a detective. Maybe he was there on some sort of police operation?
Elias felt a stir in his cock when the man licked his lips, then lifted his finger up to trace them with his finger. He smiled and Elias bit his lip to keep quiet.
He didn’t notice someone sit down beside him until they spoke.
“Hello.”
The man beside him wore a very large coat, almost too large for his body, and really too warm for the weather. “Hello.”
He followed Elias’s line of vision. “Do you know him?”
“No,” he mumbled and looked away, taking out his phone.
“Then why are you staring?”
Elias blushed and mumbled, “I wasn’t staring.”
“Yes, you were. I saw you just now.”
“I was looking at the birds.”
“There are no…”
He stood up to yell, “WOULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?” and stomped off in tears.
There seemed to be several people staring but he continued on as if they weren’t. He so blindly rushed that when he ran into someone the impact was hard, knocking the man to the sidewalk.
“What the fuck?”
The man had been smoking and Elias could tell he’d been burned.
“You should pay attention when you’re—“
The man stood up and grabbed him hard to snarl, “What the fuck are you trying to say to me, you fucking—“
Elias spat, “Pay attention when you walk! This is a public park!”
The first punch was painful, harder than he’d ever been hit his entire life, and Elias almost fell over when the man let go only to push him.
“I’m going to kill you, asshole,” the man said, just as a voice cut through their fight.
“Nigel are you hurt?”
Elias turned to see the man from the bench stood behind him. “Do you not listen to people when they talk? I told you to LEAVE ME ALONE!”
There was a roar just before he was attacked even more viciously and thrown to the the sidewalk. The pain of his head as it hit the hard ground was nothing compared to seeing the man, his beautiful man, notice him for the first time.
He could barely keep his eyes open as everything faded to black.
When he woke Elias was in the hospital, bandaged and very sore after having been worked on by what Elias assumed were terrible doctors to allow him to remain in pain. He reached over to touch the button for the nurse when someone spoke.
“Sleeping Beauty is awake.”
He tensed. “You’re here too?”
The curtain that separated the two beds was pulled back and Elias saw the coat man stood there while in the bed behind him was the man with the cigarette.
“Nigel got hurt badly by the policemen and also by the man you were staring at.”
Elias blinked. “He hit you?”
Nigel laughed and rubbed at his eye. “Apparently I ruined his covert fucking operation or some shit. I have no idea. But Adam told him you had a crush on him so there’s that.”
Elias paled. “I DO NOT!”
Adam walked over and set something on the table beside him.
It was the fortune.
“He found this after they dragged you away in the ambulance and knew it was yours. I think he likes you too? He started calling Nigel all sorts of words and I didn’t understand most of them over his accent but yes.”
Elias felt tears in his eyes.
“You should not have lied to him. I have no feelings about him whatsoever.”
The rude man in the coat, apparently Adam, blinked. “Oh, then I’ll go tell him to go home.”
He started to leave and Elias called out, “Wait!”
Nigel sighed, “Fuck darling, please tell him the rest of this shit so we can go home and then the cops can come in. I don’t fancy being arrested.”
Adam walked over and sat down beside his bed. “The man, his name is Adam too which is strange because—“
“Darling, please.”
Elias reached out and took the fortune. “How did he know this belonged to me?”
“He put it on the bench. Did you know he’s seen you naked?”
Elias nearly fell off the bed and Nigel started laughing. “Jesus Christ, I’m in hell. Okay listen, asshole. The pretty little Brit in the hall knows you stare at him in the park. Hell he said he followed you out once and caught you jerking off after but you have a big cock so he’s interested now? I for one doubt it can be that big but—“
Elias’s face was bright red now and he was torn between feeling flattered and angry. How dare that British Adam make a fool of him this way? He had only been looking it wasn’t a crime and he didn’t think he should be punished for admiring.
“…and I think you should be listening because Adam just went to get him.”
“What?”
Nigel pressed the nurse button. “Enough of this shit. NURSE!”
Elias stood up and immediately realized he should not have moved at all even though he needed to close the curtain. He moved about three steps before he fell which was when the two Adams entered the room.
British Adam smiled at him.
“Hello there.”
“Elias this is Adam, Adam this is Elias.”
Elias mumbled, a bit fuzzy, “How do you know my name?”
He didn’t hear a reply though the pretty Adam leaned down and helped him up, his strength a surprise. “You are very athletic.”
Adam laughed. “Oh darling, you have no idea.”
Later, Elias learned just how athletic Adam was.
Also he introduced Nigel to pipe smoking.

🎃 FOR HALLOWEEN MONTH 🎃
Have an Elias fighting his own demons in Silent Hill :3
Adam huffed for breath, his beaten body shaking as he tried to steel himself for the next nightmarish part of the night. He heard nothing now from his hiding spot under a work table in the dark garage and he was grateful for the pause.
They shouldn’t have stopped.
He knew it now more than ever, the memories of his friends dying one by one playing again as he tried to think of a solution.
The Thanatos Brothers were brutal monsters, their cruelty only outweighed by their ugliness. He knew they weren’t all smart, ruled by Gabriel who hated just about everything including them.
He heard a sudden loud argument that cut through his thoughts and crawled further under the table. His fear rose when the garage door opened and slammed, followed by unfamiliar grumbling.
“…I am the MOST capable killer of all!”
Adam recognized the voice belonging to the only Thanatos brother who hadn’t killed any of his mates.
Elias.
The older man was quite large, a big brute of a thing and also a bit bullied by his brothers from what he’d seen tied up at dinner earlier.
He heard sniffles and a sudden loud bang of the table he sat under made him yelp out loud.
“Who’s there?”
Adam covered his mouth and felt tears in his eyes.
“I have a very big axe and I will very happily murder you with it!”
Adam moved his knees up and accidentally banged into the table leg. He whispered, “Please don’t,” just as Elias went on his knees.
The older man’s face were barely visible in the slice of moonlight that were the only light in the garage but Adam could see the large cut on his cheek. He shook the rolling pin in his hand.
“I’m going to murder you now.”
Adam shook his head.
“Please, we didn’t mean to touch the basement. The bloody car broke and—“
Elias grabbed his leg and Adam screamed as he was pulled out from hiding. He attempted to bite and Elias held him down.
“Shut up or I will murder you a whole lot!”
Adam burst out into laughter at the threat and his fear left him in such a rush he felt lightheaded.
“Why are you laughing? I’m very scary!”
“No you’re not,” he laughed, “Curly you’re about as frightening as a kitten in a costume.”
Elias’s frown almost made him feel bad. “I miss my kitten,” he suddenly sounded on the verge of tears, “His name was Jean. Gabriel tried to hurt him so I let Jean go.”
Adam sighed. “How long have they been so horrible to you?”
He sniffled. “Always. I don’t like murder much.”
“That’s not a bad thing, darling,” Adam reassured, “It just means you’re the only human in a house of monsters.”
Elias smiled and let him up, watching as Adam righted himself. He shivered and rubbed his bare arms, cursing his stupidity for wearing short sleeves.
“Are you cold?”
He scoffed. “No I just like shivering my bloody ass off covered in my mates’ dried blood.”
Adam was amazed when Elias took off his own heavy work shirt and put it over his shoulders. The shirt smelled horrible but fuck was it warm.
“Thank you.”
“You were stupid to wear such revealing clothes in the woods.”
Adam laughed softly. “I will keep it in my mind next time.”
There was a loud yell of “Elias!” and Adam watched Elias flinch.
“You can’t hide here long. Gabriel will hurt you and the others—“
“I don’t know where to run,” Adam confessed, “I have no car and no idea where we even are.”
Elias nodded and stood up, grabbing his rolling pin along the way. He held out his other hand to Adam.
“I know. I will help you.”
Adam considered this being a trick and thought better of it. None of them were clever enough for that.
“What if they try to stop you?”
Elias huffed out a loud breath and he shook his rolling pin.
“I will stop them. I don’t want to do this anymore.”
Adam took his hand and squeezed as he stood. They stared each other down for a moment before he spoke.
“Lead the way.”
#Hannictober day 5: scarves
#HannibalHalloween day 9a: scarves and hats
You say scarf, I hear Adam Towers, The Boy In The Green Scarf.
Now that I look at it as a whole, it doesn’t look much like a scarf, even a bloody one. But idgaf.
There was a very pretty cadaver in the morgue.
Elias had seen it plenty of times already in the past week though no one seemed to know the man with hardly his neck slit so far his head was nearly off him.
He’d been working in the lower levels only a few weeks when he’d seen the pretty man brought in and the orderlies hit his head on the door which made the sheet slip to reveal him.
Elias felt an odd pull and wanted to touch. He’d dropped his mop and picked it up quick just as the corpse was wheeled away. After that his hallway cleaning quickly branched off into quick “sweeps” of the empty morgue when he knew it would be quiet. After searching the drawers the first time he’d memorized drawer ten, the number faded just enough to still be seen.
The man with no name quickly began to turn colors but was no less beautiful in death than Elias guessed he had been in life. He would stand by the man and talk sometimes about just about anything while he ached to touch but didn’t knowing it would be wrong.
All of this was wrong.
A week passed before he was caught by the rude surgeon Chilton who brought in a woman who shrilly yelled at him for “tainting her Adam!” while Chilton said he’d be fired.
Elias burst into tears when the woman pushed him over and threw herself over the corpse, over Adam, kissing his cheeks like she had the right. He grabbed onto the drawer to stand and stumbled, catching himself on the body.
A jolt went through him and he nearly fell over.
Adam the dead man was his soulmate.
The woman hit Elias again and Chilton grabbed his arm roughly in an attempt to drag him off. He was nearly to the door when the woman screamed and a growl made both men look back.
Adam was up and had his hand around the woman’s neck, the snap as she fell the only sound besides the heavy pants from both men. He watched the body move, head lolling to the side before Adam stopped.
“Elias.”
His name was said hoarsely, almost in worship, and Elias stepped forward even before Adam did.
“Hello.”
Pretty Adam smiled and Elias met him the rest of the way, letting Adam put his hands on his face to stare. They were cold but Elias supposed he’d have to get used to that.
“Elias.”
“Are you insane? That monster is going to eat you!”
Elias turned to glare at Chilton. “He is no monster, he’s my soulmate.”
Chilton laughed. “You clearly are insane. I’m calling the…”
Elias looked at Adam again.
“Are you hungry? He’s trying to take me away from you.”
Adam practically vibrated when he growled. “Elias.”
“I do not want you to die again. Do you need help?”
Adam didn’t.
It is my solemn and important duty to bring happiness, light, and joy into your world when you’re being a dour idiot. Which is most of the time. So there.
Jean Duran was an asshole.
That was the only thing Adam knew as he watched the alpha cuddle up to an omega freshman not a week after he’d denied him during his heat.
The freshman was named Luke and he could’ve been Adam’s doppelgänger if not for the pretentious clothes. He tried not to let it get to him as he kept the memory of two glorious nights in his car and two others in his dorm with Elias.
His ass still felt the aftermath even now and he felt kind of bad leaving it the way he had. But really what was he supposed to do with a fifty something year old alpha anyhow? Mate him?
Elias had a nice knot, he was funny and smelled nice but that was it. Adam didn’t need that attachment, and he most definitely did not need an alpha. He wasn’t two feet in the grave now was he?
The alpha did come with the glorious addition of being sterile, before finding this out Adam had freaked out and punched and punched the alpha in the jaw for possibly getting him pregnant. That hadn’t been very good form either and the tears that followed showed him just how odd of an alpha Elias was.
No he really didn’t need that.
Then why was he scenting Elias all over campus?
It was lingers of scent, like the alpha had just recently left wherever Adam had gotten to and he wasn’t about to ask anyone if they’d seen a fifty something year old man alpha wandering around. What if it was just after effects of sharing a heat?
Again these were all things he should be looking up or asking others about, but no one knew how very strange he was and he wanted to keep it that way.
He ignored the sight of Jean with that Luke and headed to his final class. Just outside of Lecter Hall Adam paused and closed his eyes as he was hit with a whiff of Elias.
It was strong this time, like he’d just left before Adam arrived. He saw others pass by and asked a beta girl.
“Did you see a strange alpha here earlier?”
“No. Sorry.”
Adam felt foolish to ask but shook it off, headed into Dr. Lecter’s class with his head high. The omega teacher was one of his favorites, the highlight of his curriculum really, and for the rest of the hour he planned on drowning in the man’s genius.
But his plans were short lived about fifteen minutes in when an ungodly yell reverberated through him and quite possibly the entire campus.
“What the hell was that?”
Adam felt a fear the likes of which he’d never known and shot up from his seat. He locked eyes with Dr. Lecter, the other omega seemed to understand as he fled up the stairs towards the sound.
The bag on his shoulder felt heavier than anything but he held on, rushed past those he saw as he ran toward the sounds that didn’t stop. He stopped when he found the source at campus security, breathless and frightened.
“Where?”
The officer behind the counter looked surprised to see him, shocked even, and Adam wanted to bite out his throat.
“You just lost me forty bucks. Damn.”
