6. Is your current WIP in 1st or 3rd person? Why? 

I haven’t written in first person in a very long time and never for any fandom. Telling the story comes easier for me when I’m telling it, not living through the characters I guess?

15. Favorite book

I used to say American Psycho for the longest time but I haven’t read it since college at this point so I’d probably say it’s a toss up between Stephen King’s It and The Stand.

7. Tell us about your favorite character that you’ve ever written. 

Character I created or who I really enjoy writing the most? If it’s a character I created I’d say Mischa in just about anything I’ve written. She changes from fic to fic but I just love writing her so much because I just create what fits that particular story. 

Character I love writing in general? I think Nigel. He’s a breeze when I get in my stride and I never second guess myself when writing him. Not ever.

1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

Really I think it was mostly my love of historical romance novels. I’ve always been a huge fan of second chance romance and add in pirates you’ve got some great opportunities for angst.

I at one point thought to make Mischa more of a central character but I think she deserves her own story if I ever attempt a sequel.
